Hen Harrier Gin

Our bellowed "Hen Harrier" gin, named after the bird, has flown into an EU regulation and must now carry on without a color change in the glass.

Therefore, it now comes with a new recipe with a dark purple color in the bottle instead of dark blue, with the same fantastic taste and still has a beautiful light violet color in the glass mixed with tonic.

Hen Harrier is an Old Tom Gin with a slight sweetness. It is distilled with large amounts of citrus and has a subdued note of rosemary. A fresh and delicious gin that is perfect both on the terrace and as an aperitif.

Recommended tonic and side dish: Fever Tree Mediterranean and blueberry.

(700ml bottle - 41.4% alcohol – Additives E120, E133)

The more detailed reason is that the "Butterfly Pea" flower (which gives the blue color in our Hen Harrier gin and causes the color to change) cannot be used in products sold in the EU because of the Novelty Food Regulation. The Danish Food Authority has decided that products with “Butterfly Pea” can no longer be produced or sold.
